2026 約翰・洛克議論文寫作大賽全面參照全球頂級人文社科學術寫作競賽 —— 約翰・洛克論文比賽的命題架構與專業評判標準辦理。賽事涵蓋哲學、政治、經濟、歷史、心理學等多門核心學科，以開放式議題開展徵稿。本賽事核心宗旨，在於激發青少年對人文社科領域的探索熱情，引導參賽者跳出淺層思維，針對各類學術議題展開深度思辨，並透過規範的學術寫作，完整、條理地表達個人見解與邏輯論證，是磨煉學術能力、累積國際競賽經歷的優質平台。

The John Locke Essay Writing Contest adopts the proposition framework and professional evaluation criteria of the world’s top academic writing competition for humanities and social sciences, the original John Locke Essay Competition. It includes core disciplines such as philosophy, politics, economics, history and psychology with a range of open-ended topics. The competition aims to inspire teenagers to explore humanities and social sciences. It guides participants to think deeply over academic issues beyond superficial understanding, and express personal viewpoints and logical arguments in a well-organized, standard academic writing style. It is a high-quality platform for young people to improve academic competence and gain valuable international competition experience.
比賽形式
Competition Format
競賽採用線上形式進行，參賽者需於競賽截止日期前提交參賽作品 (格式DOC/PDF）。
個人報名填寫線上報名表格。成功報名後，賽事確認信及專屬競賽鏈接將發送至登記郵箱。
學校或機構團體批量參賽，請由指導老師統一下載並填寫《團體報名表》。競賽鏈接將發送至指導老師登記郵箱。
Online competition. Participants submit the essay (in DOC/PDF format) before deadline.
Individual Registration Please complete the online registration form. Upon successful registration, confirmation email and competition link will be sent to registered email.
Group Registration: For schools or institutions organizing group (bulk) participation, the instructor should download and complete the "Group Registration Form." The competition link will be sent to the instructor's registered email.

作品要求
Requirement
按照參賽組別指定題目進行議論文寫作，寫作語言中文或英文，字數500字以上，不含標點符號。
Write an argumentative essay of at least 500 words (excluding punctuation) on an assigned topic based on competition division. Language: Chinese or English.

導師獎 / Outstanding Mentor Award
學校、教育中心凡推薦5名或以上參賽者，其指導老師可獲頒優秀導師電子證書。Any school, educational center, or organization that recommends 5 or more participants will receive Outstanding Mentor Award e-certificate for the supervising instructor.

Rules
作品必須為原創，參賽者須獨立完成寫作，嚴禁抄襲、代寫、套作或使用人工智慧生成內容。一經發現，取消參賽資格。
邀請全球文學專家及資深寫作導師組成評審團，採「匿名評審＋雙輪評審」機制。評審維度：內容(立意與觀點,論據與說服力); 結構組織；語言表達等
Entries must be original and completed independently. Plagiarism, ghostwriting, template-based writing, or AI-generated content is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in disqualification.
A panel of global literature experts and experienced writing mentors will use an anonymous, two-round review process. Evaluation criteria: Content (originality & viewpoint, evidence & persuasiveness), Structure & Organization, and Language Expression.

相關賽事章程，由主辦方負責制定、修訂及解釋。主辦方有權根據實際情況，對考試安排、監考方式、違規認定標準及處理辦法等作出最終決定。協會保留修改上述條款及解釋比賽規則的權利，無需事先通知。如有任何爭議，協會擁有最終決定權。
The relevant Regulations are formulated, revised, and interpreted by the Organizer (IUOTA) . IUOTA reserves the right to make final determinations regarding the examination arrangement, proctoring methods, standards for violation identification, and handling measures based on actual circumstances. IUOTA reserves the right to modify the above terms and interpret the competition rules without prior notice. In case of any disputes, IUOTA holds the final decision-making authority.
